Welcome to Morven View
Morven View Caravan Site opened in 2003. We're open 365 days of the year.
It's the perfect place to stay to enjoy the tranquility of open spaces and the big sky. From the site you can see the Orkney Islands, and also the wonderful sunsets.
With the right conditions you can witness the fantastic Northern Lights.
We're on the North Coast 500 route - www.northcoast500.com
We are close to Dunnet Head, the most Northerly point in Britain, with it's 18th century lighthouse built by Robert Louis Stevenson. Dunnet Bay, close by, is home to the award winning Dunnet Bay Distillery - www.rockrosegin.co.uk
We're not far from the Gills Bay and Scrabster ferries to the Orkneys.
John O'Groats, Wick and Thurso are a few miles' drive away.
Wick is home to the famous Old Pulteney Whiskey distillery - www.oldpulteney.com.
Morvenview is the place for views, peace & quiet. There is no light pollution.
We have well spaced out, easy to access, drained hard standings and electric hook-ups for each pitch along with a motorhome service point, fresh water and drainage facilities.
Shower and toilet facilities are no longer available unfortunately.
We have dog walking and exercise areas - dogs are very welcome
Unfortunately we're closed at present until the COVID situation improves. There are limited hospital facilities in this part of the world and we're doing our part to ensure they don't become more over stretched than they need to be.
Pricing (from 1 January 2020)
£20.00 per night, inclusive of electric hook up (5 amp / 1.2 KW maximum), payable on arrival.
We offer a 20% discount for 5 nights or more (when paid on arrival).
